HARBERTON CRICKET CLUB - DEVELOPMENT PLAN for 2010

Harberton CC is a community based cricket club offering a great experience to all ages in the spirit of cricket.

Our aims for 2010 are:

To apply for support grants to help fund the purchase of an all weather practice net facility and to upgrade our ground maintenance and pitch preparation machinery.

To submit an application for the installation of an all weather practice net, to be available for use from April 2011.

Encourage players and parents to get more involved in club affairs by

· training as coaches, scorers and umpires.

· volunteering to help with ground maintenance and fund raising activities

· Providing support for our junior development programme

At least two players to train as ECB qualified coaches.

Develop links with local primary schools as part of our junior development programme and to enhance our links with the local community
